The Earl Sanders Jr. Band

Since 1996, The Earl Sanders Jr. Band from Brookshire, Texas has created a style of country music that is a blend of the best and most original. Fans and followers feel the influence of the legends like Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, David Allan Coe, Johnny Cash, and Kris Kristofferson. Classic and traditional country music dominates their shows, but southern rock and Texas music infiltrate their sets regularly.

Jimmy and Bobby Sanders, a brother duo, have performed all over Texas in bars, clubs, dancehalls, and for private events like weddings and corporate parties. They’ve opened for legends such as John Conlee and Junior Brown. The brothers are backed by bass, rhythm, and steel guitars with Jimmy on lead guitar and vocals and Bobby on drums and vocals.

The Earl Sanders Jr. Band has recorded two independently released CD’s, a self-titled work in 1999 and “Rhymes and Melodies” in 2002. They have received radio airplay in Houston, Conroe, and Bryan/College Station.

My wedding would not have been the same without the Earl Sanders Band! They added a special touch to my special day. It was awesome to have a live band that could not only play special songs that I had requested, but also songs requested by our guests. The guests had an awesome time and raved about the music. Many still talk about it today as one of their most memorable moments from my wedding. Our main goal for our wedding, besides the nuptials, was to entertain our guests.
